Gencell®: YAC (Young Antiaging Cells)
Placenta-derived allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells for intravenous systemic support.
Systemic support cell therapy formulated with placenta-derived allogeneic Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Generation 2 and at early passages. Administered intravenously under medical supervision, it is aimed at modulating processes associated with biological aging, chronic low-grade inflammation and functional tissue deterioration.
Composition
4 mL solution with placenta-derived allogeneic Mesenchymal Stem Cells, in a sterile physiological vehicle. Presentation of 5 million cells.
Pharmaceutical form
Injectable solution.
Presentation
Single-dose 4 mL Monovette vial, protected in a plastic container that maintains cell stability and viability until use.
Mechanism of action & Clinical data
Its effect does not depend on cell differentiation but on its secretory activity: YAC Cells act as cellular biofactories and release, in a regulated way, growth factors (VEGF, FGF-2, IGF-1, HGF and PDGF), immunomodulatory cytokines, extracellular vesicles and exosomes. This signaling promotes tissue homeostasis, repair and the activity of fibroblasts and endothelial cells, helping to preserve the extracellular matrix. Indicated as a systemic support cell therapy administered intravenously; the regimens reported in the literature are applied serially at intervals of 4 to 5 weeks, always at the discretion of the treating physician.
Indications
Focal full-thickness cartilage defects in the knee of traumatic or degenerative origin.

Contraindications
Allergy to antibiotics, joint infections, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or advanced osteoarthritis.
